Bruce DeMara Toronto Star Despite its misleadingly weak title, Blood Pressure is an engaging thriller, thanks to Giroux, who makes believable and measured changes in Nicole's personality and temperament as she finds her backbone while on her mysterious journey. Rated: 2.5/4 Mar 14, 2013 Full Review Brian D. Johnson Maclean's Magazine Here's a small Canadian film that unfolds as a conjuring trick of a different kind, one that doesn't work so hard to please the crowd, and has more integrity and style. Aug 14, 2019 Full Review T'Cha Dunlevy Montreal Gazette We are left with a reasonably entertaining film that has many positives, but ultimately loses its tenuous grip on our attention. Rated: 2.5/5 May 15, 2013 Full Review Jason Anderson The Grid Director Sean Garrity fashions something tense, steely, and affecting out of a premise that might've yielded an erotic fantasy if the events here weren't so rooted in its suburbanite heroine's mid-life malaise. Richard S Unique script with great acting and enough plot twists to keep the audience engaged Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/06/23 Full Review Audience Member It seems slow-moving and soft-spoken, until all of a sudden you realize all the changes in the characters and the plotlines. Michelle Giroux takes her character's outlines and weaves them into a well-drawn persona. Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) continues to steal scenes with just her raw talent. Well-directed, you'll like this movie or you won't. That's it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member It seemed odd that she just did everything asked without question. But the whole thing wasn't too believable. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This started out as an interesting story but I didn't really care for where it eventually went... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member It looks amateurish and it's a boring film. Filled with extraneous characters and scenes in this contrived story. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought it ended flat. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
