Phil Hoad Guardian British director Lawrence Jacomelli dons the appropriate outlaw squint for this cat-and-mouse thriller -- one that’s capable of picking out a sharp composition, too -- but ultimately his debut is too disjointed to hit top gear. Luke D An Amazing film that brought me on a wild rollercoaster. Shot entirely in the dessert, beautiful scenes that have me wishing I was back in Phoenix! But also hoping I do not get pulled over! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/24/24 Full Review Daniel M If thrillers are your thing, this is a must see. Excellent choice of cast, well directed and videography was spot on. Really enjoyed this from start to finish. 10/10 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/07/24 Full Review Rhiannon H What a ride! Just watched this with my 15 years old son and we were both riveted from start to finish! Strong acting from the two main characters made me feel sooo tense the whole way through Britini's 24 hr hour ordeal - great twists and shock moments! 🙌🏽 needed a brandy to calm the nerves after 🤣 She's a tough cookie though and I appreciated the poignant glimpse into her traumatic back story when she's driving along with the girl from the diner. Jacomelli creates some BEAUTIFUL cinematic moments (the fly!!) - the snow on the mountains in the desert background really added to the stark landscape and the sense of abandonment. I love this from a director as it reflects such depth of thought and creativity and takes the audience experience to a whole new elevated level. If this is a debut movie - he obviously knows his craft!! Just imagine what he could do with the industry fully behind him. Will await with interest! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/07/24 Full Review Henry O Throughly enjoyed, would highly recommend. Colour grading was immense, and the director(s) knew exactly what they were aiming for, and, clearly, they did not disappoint. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/07/24 Full Review Rebecca M Right, I was going to give it a 4.5, but the ending gave it the last mark. Suspenseful, intense and beautifully shot. Props to the team. Looking forward to their future projects. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/07/24 Full Review Andrew M Ahhhhhh, it was just an all-round good movie. I don’t normally leave reviews, but if this doesn’t win some sort of review, then fish do not belong in the sea. Must-see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/07/24 Full Review Read all reviews
