Elliott Stein Film Comment Magazine This fantasy saga of a rant-and-roll working-class Bronx Italian family, although shot in New York, is riddled with Hollywood conventions. Rated: 1/4 Dec 12, 2017 Full Review Rene Jordan El Nuevo Herald (Miami) The film functions on a visceral level because Mulligan is good with his actors. s r A little over the top, but manages to capture the working class Bronx. I watched it for that aspect, the Italian Bronx is a gem. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Gere channels his inner John Travola (in 'Saturday Night Fever') playing the oldest child in an Italian-American family in NY. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm the first person to review this one. Let me be the last....just bloody awful. This was a complete mess from start to finsh.
