Audience Member We have seen it so many times before. The older brother is murdered, so the younger brother seeks revenge. This time we see Don "The Dragon" Wilson as the younger sibling searching the mean streets of Manilla for his brothers killers, and in the process just happens to stumble across an illegal kickboxing tournament. A young Billy Blanks gives the finest performance from a black actor since Sidney Poitier in The Heat of the Night. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Familiar martial arts plot. An American kickboxer enters a tournament to avenge his brother's death at the hands of another kickboxer. Provides a revealing look at the popularity of acid wash jeans in the Phillippines in 1989. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member (**): A cheesy action/martial arts flick. Fair at best. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Familiar formula has man travelling to Manila to investigate his brother's mysterious death. Began a curious trend for Corman in casting kickboxers for movies, which could lead one to falsely assume kickboxing was once a mainstream sport. Title and plot seem to be constructed to deliberately confuse the viewer with BLOODSPORT. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't remember enough to say or give a higher rating Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Sub par ripp off of Bloodsport. Nothing much to pay attention to except for the participation of Rob Kaman and Billy Blanks. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
