Seere D I didn't mind this. It loses some of it's scary points later in the movie but is a fairly decent medical Thriller that was close to exploring some really interesting themes. Kinda copped out for some action segments and a happy ending and I wish it laid more into the psychological horror inflicted by medication. The film incorporates vampire and zombie motifs and takes place predominantly in a sleek pharmaceutical research facility. The film takes itself so seriously that it is easy at times to forget that it is very comical in its adherence to its genre, providing a stark contrast between shock and whimsy, developing a world that is for the most part complete. Budgetary limitations are cleverly hidden, and the acting is very passionate and dedicated, with a large number of main actors performing together in interesting ways that at times reminds one of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. First time director Eric Wostenberg didn't pull any punches with this film that definitely earns its R rating.
