See more Oscar G @RT35489172 Sep 1 This review is for "Blue Ridge: The Series": Hmm, beautiful country setting, living in isolated cabin, a Sheriff who drives a older Ford Bronco, for a smaller town, with a couple of deputies, and a couple of town characters being played by actors A. Martinez and Graham Greene ... alright, Longmire. Nope! The coincidences are undeniable, however, the acting, writing and character chemistry do not match that of Longmire. It will be interesting if season 2 lets the show self-identify as something other than a poor Longmire clone. See more Janet Z @RT05938198 Jul 27 This was absolutely painful to watch. It was like a horrible Lifetime mystery. Acting by many was just terrible. I have absolutely no idea why we watched the whole thing. It's like a Carolina Moutain Soap Opera wrapped around a mediocre law enforcement theme. It's a Yellowstone/Longview clone with not nearly the punch it needs.
