At times it plays out like a propaganda piece but overall it is an excellent documentary and at times emotional. The film tends to tie things up a but too quickly. Overall enjoyable but it will depends what set of glasses you have on when you watch it.

There's a lot to be learned from 'Bobby Sands: 66 Days' and the documentarian takes a look at both sides of a conflict that led to an untimely death and analyzes whether it was worth it. He lets the viewer be the judge in what is a refreshing style. Whether you think Sands was a martyr or a criminal or somewhere in between the film brings context to the Northern Ireland conflict. Despite being a little too talking heady for my taste, it's worthwhile for a watch if you're interested in European history. Final Score 6.8/10
