The days of canine superstar Bolt (John Travolta) are filled with danger and intrigue ... until the cameras stop rolling. Bolt is one of the rare modern Disney films where everything truly comes together. Even with a simpler concept and a distractingly rough first joke, the film quickly pulls itself together to deliver a heartfelt and worthy viewing experience.

An amiable, warm-hearted, inoffensive family animated film about a dog who stars in a popular television show. He accidentally gets posted to the other side of the USA, and has to make his way home - all while he believes he really does have the superpowers he has in the television show. It's not trying to do anything special or groundbreaking, and it would be a hard-hearted person who took against this film. It's not going to change anybody's life, but it does what it sets out to do perfectly acceptably. The voice-cast are unremarkable, and the direction umimaginative, but this is really just a nice enough film about a dog with delusions of grandeur.
