Nell Minow Movie Mom Rated: B Feb 18, 2012 Full Review Edward Porter Times (UK) The jokes aren't a match for Pixar's best, and there's too much sentimentality (as if Lasseter were determined to keep Disney's cartoons just that little bit less cool than Pixar's), but this is still an above-average children's film. Rated: 3/5 Feb 12, 2009 Full Review Anthony Quinn Independent (UK) The plot is sentimental fluff. But this has energy and invention enough to keep Lasseter top of the heap. Rated: 3/5 Feb 10, 2009 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Clearly, Disney animators have taken a few notes from their Pixar pals. Rated: 3/4 Mar 7, 2024 Full Review Carson Timar ButteredPopcorn Bolt is one of the rare modern Disney films where everything truly comes together. Even with a simpler concept and a distractingly rough first joke, the film quickly pulls itself together to deliver a heartfelt and worthy viewing experience. Dec 7, 2023 Full Review Richard Crouse Richard Crouse Despite its treatment of cats as the Rodney Dangerfield of the animal kingdom - they just can't get no respect - is solid entertainment for the whole family. Harriet R Fun movie. Kind of depressed me when I was younger. But not bad. Bolt is super cute. The ending was really disappointing in my opinion. I would have made a different decision, but oh well. Still worth watching :) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/16/24 Full Review Garrett B Very under appreciated. This was part of my childhood Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/09/24 Full Review Lucas C This movie is absolutely awesome, like even though Bolt didn’t have superpowers, it’s still a very heartwarming movie and the music is very nice, the animation is AMAZING, and i absolutely LOVE Miley Cyrus and John Travolta. At first I thought it was a Pixar movie but it was actually a Disney movie but that’s even better. Also the end credits song SLAPS. But in conclusion I think this movie deserves more attention and I feel like everyone forgot about it,but overall i absolutely love this movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/26/24 Full Review SkyRo P "Bolt" is one of those Disney animated movies that seems to have slipped under the radar. Despite this, it’s an enjoyable watch, and the vibrant characters, voiced by Miley Cyrus and John Travolta, bring a refreshing energy to the screen. The story takes you on an exciting journey alongside Mittens the cat, Rhino the hamster, and of course, Bolt, the dog who believes he is a real superhero due to his fame from a television show. Honestly, I believe this film is exceptionally well-crafted and beautifully animated, yet it doesn’t receive the recognition it truly deserves. It features numerous memorable moments and animated sequences that ensure its place in the legacy of Disney classics. I wholeheartedly recommend "Bolt" to families, as it’s a film that everyone should experience. It's truly a gem worth watching! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/23/24 Full Review Lucas t It feels to much like a cliché compilation to be enjoyable Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/12/24 Full Review Curtis H The very best parts of this movie are the voice casting, characterizations, and the dialog, improvisational and written.
