02/05/2013 I wish it would have ended 15 minutes sooner, at its most cynical moment, but "One Fine Spring Day" remains real and ballsy to its end. I appreciated the modesty and its honest look at emotional attachments and detachments. See more 07/28/2011 Loved every minute of this. Hur Jin-ho sure knows how to capture true emotions and the highs and lows of a relationship (as seen in April Snow, and Happiness, among others). This film isn't your typical romance, nothing cliche about it. In fact, it's more of a rare insight into the feelings of two very different individuals, how they embrace their relationship, and how they try to develop it. I couldn't have thought of better leads than Yu Ji-tae and Lee Yeong-ae; the chemistry on screen was just so genuine, unbelievable! Lastly, cinematography must be complemented, with some memorable scenes such as the one in the bamboo forest and of course, the closing scene. Do give this a chance, I daresay it would be the one of the best films that Hur Jin-ho has made. See more 03/03/2011 It's a quiet film that has a lot to say about relationships.
