It always feels as if the people making this movie are having fun, and while that’s never a guarantee that the audience will too, it’s certainly the case here. Go to Full Review

Bone Lake is one of those works that, at a certain point, demands a suspension of disbelief too great to be ignored, but whose casual, unserious style ultimately justifies any outburst. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

It’s a fun, messed-up horror thriller playing with both familiar tropes and modern-day anxieties of love, sex, and finding out that someone has booked the same rental home for the weekend. Go to Full Review

Bone Lake doesn’t take itself too seriously, but it does deal seriously with relationship issues through a mix of horror, sex, and psychological head games. Go to Full Review

The simple writing contributes to the predictability, skimping on character depth in favor of lusty looks. A reasonable runtime and brutal final act redeem this from becoming drivel, but it can’t put this into any realm that is interpreted as awesome. Go to Full Review

Bone Lake emerges as a pleasant horror surprise, though one that is undeniably stronger during its ritualistic disemboweling of a couple’s frayed relationship than when the bloodshed actually arrives. Go to Full Review

Destiny Oct 13 There’s was like 2-3 sex scenes and wasn’t at all a extremely sexual movie like the trailer gave off. The only time you see fully naked people 2 times and even then it’s not giving rated R. The movie was okay. Wouldn’t pay movie ticket price to see it to be honest. See more Shelly Oct 13 Great movie. Lots of twists. See more Miguel Oct 12 Derivative story that youve seen done before. Wasnt nearly as scary or sexy as the marketing made it seem it would be. See more Mr. Hollywood Oct 10 The film isnt fully ready. Couldve used another draft. Some scenes the acting isnt there. Forgettable by the time you leave the theater. See more zacnoh Oct 9 a sly, brutal thing. sexy for reasons outside its sexual content. i went in knowing very little and that worked well. explores a type of narrative i’d typically avoid like the plague but bone lake changes things up and held me captive. kind of a blast. See more BG0411 Oct 9 The scene(s) where the fish was being "cleaned" was disgusting and almost made me leave. The rest of the movie was fairly predictable even though the plot was unique.
