Bone Tomahawk (2015) The beginning is quite slow and boring, with a story about the daily lives of people living in the Old West; it's only after 30 minutes that the story really begins. The intense scenes that will occur in the final act are brutal; I was very surprised.

This movie was great. Mixing a western with a scary cannibal pack of Indians never worked so well. I felt pure terror for Kurt Russell and his crew. They have to infiltrate the cannibal Indians home-base to try and save some people they know. The ending is really riveting and will play on your nerves. Horror fans will love this western-horror hybrid.

The story was very good, and I enjoyed watching the relationship of the characters develop over the course of the film. It felt like the beginning and ending of the movie had the most going on which made the middle of the movie feel like a little bit of a drag. Though, this was my first "western" movie, so review is subject to change. I would still recommend the movie based on the story alone.

I made an account Just to review this movie and let anyone who may be checking reviews before watching it stop reading and go watch it, you’ll thank me 2 hours and 12 minutes from now. I was going to say it’s my favorite western, then I thought about it and was going to say favorite horror instead, but it’s also a suspense movie, action movie and so much more, but it doesn’t try too hard to be any of these; it just is, and that’s why it’s in a genre all of its own and easily replaced "No Country for Old Men" as my new favorite movie of all time.

I thought it was a unique experience, that shook up the genre standards. Strangely paced though. It was cool to see Patrick Wilson in something other than the Conjuring or Insidious.
