All through the film it seemed like it was just missing on every level. At the end it was said that Hitler committed suicide on April 30, 1945 and the war was over. The war wasn't over even though it was long lost. It's right in a way but not exactly. Summarized my feelings about the whole film; right in a way, but not exactly.

Dramatic, well written and acted with a story and characters you care about. Set during WWII, this true story, while entertaining, reminds us that true freedom requires courage, leadership and sacrifice. Highly recommend.

People rating lower tend to rate biased by theology. The actors, sets, plot, etc. are fantastic, and you don't have to agree with Bonhoeffer's ideas to love the movie.
