After the death of a rich and very distant cousin, bumbling cowboy Fuzzy Jones (Al "Fuzzy" St. John) convinces his pal Billy (Buster Crabbe) to travel with him to the dead man's estate to try to claim the fortune. When they arrive, they meet Helen Stockton (Lorraine Miller), the rightful heir to the estate, but the cousin's scheming superintendent wants the inheritance for himself, so he sends his henchmen after Fuzzy, Billy and Helen. The trio must thwart the crooks and vie for the money.
