Nathan L I really thought the acting and the trope of who done it was done well. I liked the leading actor. The dubbing was done really well; i.e.,the English sounded and looked like it was coming through the actor's lips, The lead detective had a mental disorder, but he was also intelligent, had psychic abilities, and he wasn't fearful. It wasetter than most garbage movies out there. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review Luis M. D This is a competent neo-noir thriller with excellent characterizations and a sober execution. Along the way we come to meet a larger-than-life, somehow unrealistic Nietzschean character who kills people only to "make the world a better place." Unfortunately, near the end, as the plot intensifies and we expect a full explanation, many points remain obscure or unanswered. You have to double your attention and may still need an external help to get the full picture. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/01/23 Full Review Adam H It's fun for a fan of Sorjonen to see the characters again. It raises some intriguing elements, but ultimately what it does with them is kind of a scramble, and several plot points are glossed over with even less of a jab at explanation than in the series. The character arc is also a bit unsatisfying IMO. Better than El Camino (as a sequel to Breaking Bad), but not by that much. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/22/23 Full Review T T Not sure why this movie got such a low rating. Anyway, I thought it was a pretty decent Finnish crime thriller. I enjoyed it although I didn't have time to watch the 3 seasons of the series yet. Looking forward to doing that very soon. Most reviews I read on other review boards recommended watching the series first, since it provides a lot of the backstory and predates this sequel. So, obviously it makes sense, if you have the time to watch the 3 season series, do it first. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews
