You know exactly what you're getting with this genre, but it was done pretty well. Maybe I just really like hearing New Zealand accents on screen, but I really enjoyed the cast + dancing was just fully entertaining + 'feel good' vibe.

couldn't fault the making of the film; cinematography, music, camera work...etc all on point. the choreography? unbelievably good. unfortunately the rest was a horrible script and plot line making it hard to distinguish whether the actors weren't up to par or it was impossible to act well whilst trying to cram every possible nz slang word into your sentences
