Nathan C Bad decisions lean to Bosco being locked up. He's escaped once can he do it again? There's more to this movie than an escape plan there's themes like freedom is a state of mind, enduring torture and hate for your overall well being…. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/16/24 Full Review Laurie S Sentenced to 35 years for attempted possession of marijuana! How insane is that? You'd get much less for murder. The Americans must have had a frontal lobotomy to have devised a system that gave such a sentence. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/01/24 Full Review Yolanda D I really enjoyed this film. I was raw and realistic. I love that fact the main character redeemed himself for his daughter. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/24 Full Review Thomas S Claustrophobic, uplifting and intense with excellent acting by Adams and Blonsky Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/24 Full Review Tammy L This movie is phenomenal. JK Sooja Common Sense Media The true-story finale is given away in the very beginning as if to implore the viewer to stick around to watch just how Adams manages to escape a maximum-security prison, but the final act feels rushed and unsatisfying. Feb 7, 2024 Full Review Sumner Forbes Film Threat Prison films are an underrated genre, and Pino’s film is a more than worthy addition to the great family of films that take place behind bars. Rated: 7/10 Feb 6, 2024 Full Review Johnny Loftus Decider ... It references the canon of prison escape films and allows space for Aubrey Joseph to ably interpret and invite us into Quawntay Adams’ inner life. Feb 6, 2024 Full Review M.N. Miller FandomWire Aubrey Joseph gives a raw, powerful performance in Peacock's Bosco. Rated: 6/10 Feb 4, 2024 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue The title character generates hard-earned sympathy in this earnest prison drama, but his true-life saga of resilience and redemption is handcuffed by shallow characters and genre tropes. Feb 3, 2024 Full Review Robert Kojder Flickering Myth Bosco isn’t attuned to any of the elements that would separate this story from a generic prison break film Rated: 1.5/5 Feb 3, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews
