Geoff Berkshire Variety A terminally quirky indie dramedy, "Bottled Up" risks trivializing prescription drug abuse in service of a trite middle-age romance. Feb 28, 2014 Full Review Tirdad Derakhshani Philadelphia Inquirer A small, intimate, bittersweet, and wonderfully crafted love story, it may very well add a spring to your step as you exit the theater. Rated: 3/4 Feb 28, 2014 Full Review Moira MacDonald Seattle Times You watch "Bottled Up" feeling that the screenplay needed a few more drafts; the dialogue, in particular, doesn't always ring true. Audience Member Not bad, except for Melissa Leo's complete wall of hair over her eyes Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Worst movie I've seen all year. Hooray 2015! Everything can only get better from here. The whole mom dating the young guy was lame. And the daughter could not a grip of life. Lacked inspiration and wit. Onto the next. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Poor Melissa Leo. She should have to relinquish her Oscar for making this garbage. There's no substance or meaning to this film. It feels as if it starts 20 minutes into the film and we've missed something and it just never allows the viewer to feel emotionally invested. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member 81 minutes of boring white people problems. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
