Deejay Ray Ray (Rafael Sardina) needs new turntables, so he takes a second job working as an enforcer for Chunks (Joe Grifasi), a small-time loan shark. Ray Ray pays a visit to Kutty (David Margulies), who runs the local pawn shop. He discovers that Kutty is much tougher than he looks: He's a Holocaust survivor and doesn't think much of threats. While Ray Ray struggles to balance his friendship and his job duties, he also starts to fall for Ruby (Marjan Neshat), Kutty's niece.
