Holiday7 Super crazy violent with unexpected casting and international feel. Simple vengeance story with slight ending twist. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/29/24 Full Review Norm V. Great Sci-Fi Action Thriller Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/29/24 Full Review pwrmitch Tonally broken with comedy stretching on too long without purpose before nihilistic drama deflates all the levity that came before. Showy camera hides fight choreography and makes the whole show a headache-inducing kaleidoscope rather than action can be visually followed. Ugly and dull despite everyone giving 110%. A judicious edit could get a solid 45 minutes out of this, with quick wit and violence rather than something which feels stretched and ultimately pointless. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/28/24 Full Review TSB2 The acting outshines the story. While this wasn't an exciting new concept, it was entertaining and the body count makes John Wick look like a pacifist. Bill Skarsgard did so much with body language and facial expression that it carried the premise. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/28/24 Full Review Lesley H. Jon Benjamin's narration is 88% of the reason i wanted to see this movie and he's excellent. More than that, this is great action movie. They did a lot of stuff I've never seen before. I'll never look at a box grater the same again. Rated: 2/4 Apr 27, 2024 Full Review Tim Robey Daily Telegraph (UK) The world-building for this berserk odyssey is accomplished in a frenetic first few minutes you may find hard to keep up with: it’s as if the film kicks off with its own trailer. Rated: 4/5 Apr 26, 2024 Full Review Adam Graham Detroit News But boy oh boy, "Boy Kills World" is a slog, a movie built for midnight audiences that proves it's sometimes better to just go to bed. Rated: D Apr 26, 2024 Full Review Michael Ward Should I See It ...everything just feels exhausting, the movie lacks any novelty, and the kills lose their shock value. Rated: 2.5/5 Apr 28, 2024 Full Review Lauren Bradshaw Fangirl Freakout Boy Kills World is an ultra-gory action film that has some of the best fight choreography I've seen in a long time, but leaves little more to be desired. Rated: C Apr 28, 2024 Full Review Korey Coleman Double Toasted Boy Kills World prioritizes stylistic fights and cartoonish humor over the story. The camera work is frantic but extremely well done.
