Thoran K Oct 8 Dracula: The Original Living Vampire has all the makings of a late-night guilty pleasure: fog machines, questionable accents, and more brooding than a teenage poetry slam. But then Michael Ironside appears, and suddenly, it’s art. He doesn’t just act; he occupies the screen, radiating that trademark Ironside menace that makes you believe Dracula should be afraid of him. Forget the Count, this movie belongs to the Commander. See more Thisis N Sep 12 Not scary, hardly any vampire action, and toooo much sex for the genre. But, had a good laugh See more Katie S Aug 18 So awesomely bad it's almost worth it. I laughed so hard through this movie. I loved it! I mean it's terrible...but in an amazing way. See more Fã d Feb 9 Don't waste your time. The first shot is already horrible. The acting so not credible. The way they say the lines... disturbing. Seems like a highschool project and the main actress is dreadfull! The director is bad.. characters have no idea when to move, when to stay still. And they just stay still A LOT. Special when they shouldn't. Lots of unnecessary sex early on and the major thing we all want to see: the vampire's bite - is not seen at all. The movie tries to enovate by keeping all the aspects of another era but modernizing the social background: The police detective is a woman, lesbian and full of herself. The only thing this movie as that is GOOD - and it stands out in the first moment - is photography. The props, the clothes, the scenarios... all too good for the crap we are watching. Oh, and the vampire, the first shot when he show up... if laughfable. Seems like an insecure kid playing dress up.
