Monica Castillo Boston Phoenix Nothing more than a freshman's first term paper for a sociology 101. Rated: 0.5/4 Sep 11, 2012 Full Review Michael Atkinson Village Voice There's almost a Seussian vibe in this heap, but no hint that it's intentional. Sep 11, 2012 Full Review Robert Abele Los Angeles Times To borrow a hamburger chain's refrain, not lovin' it. Rated: 1.5/5 Sep 10, 2012 Full Review Pat Padua DCist The movie takes such surreal turns that it's awfulness become a cinematic train wreck from which you can't avert your eyes. Aug 30, 2018 Full Review Paul Chambers Movie Chambers Branded" is a confusing sci-fi thriller that takes itself much too seriously. Rated: D- Jan 21, 2013 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Satire usually implies at least a little bit of humor, and Branded is mostly humorless -- if it was ever actually trying to be funny, then it fails. If a satire should be pointed, then this movie is more on the dull side. Rated: 2/5 Sep 26, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews

Korra N This had the potential to be a gripping & disturbing spiritual successor to THEY LIVE, but instead it's a cheap-looking mess with laughably bad visual effects & stilted acting. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/13/25 Full Review Nic T This movie being revieuw bombed by capitalists who don`t understand the looming emotion of fear and supression becouse they are the one causing it not the one sufforing it, is a testament to how much of a masterpiece this movie is. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/04/25 Full Review Mario C Movie critics are the least trusted profession next to Congress. This movie, while not the best, is a demonstration of the problems of marketing, advertising, and influencers before even today's current social media infection. It's weird. It's odd. It's not traditional. Which is why haters are gonna hate. Sit back. Get high. Watch the movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/05/25 Full Review Audience Member Probably the most under rated movie of all time. That's hardly surprising however considering it attacks the very concept of corporate branding and mass marketing, the two under lying principles that drive the careers of movie critics and reviewers. Is not so much a literal telling of the story but rather every detail is a representation of a concept. Most people probably won't understand what is going on as it breaks down the barriers of perception and requires you to actually think. Oh and I also loved the fact that the trailer was incredibly misleading, which is the entire point of this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member You want to like the characters so much, but alas this is a cautionary tale... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review juli k Am I the only person on the planet that appreciates this movie?!!! Granted, it was a little weird in spots, and it wasn't what I expected (actually, I don't know what I expected, but this wasn't it) *But* I found the movie intriguing, imaginative, and heck, it held my attention. Off beat sense of humor, and good acting. I also found the issues it brought up interesting. So, if you like thought provoking, dark weird humor, and just weird period, just go with it! I am glad I did : ) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
