Set in the days following the assassination of South Korean President Park Chung-hee, this film focuses on a young boy, Gwang-ho (Lee Jae-eung), who has much more important things on his mind -- specifically, the comely nurse (Yoon Jin-seo) renting a room in Gwang-ho's house. The boy also begins to grow emotionally distant from his doting, hard-working mother and resists her constant attention. Then he receives a chain letter and obsesses over its power to cause harm.
