Why are ppl anti this movie? It's hilarious character acting by all, especially Awkwafina. If you like bizarre black comedies, you'll love this. I enjoyed tf out of it.

Allison Janney plays a meek housewife doing her daily affirmations when on her birthday her life as she knows it takes a turn when the police and media believe he husband has been kidnapped but she knows the very different truth. Part dark comedy and part small town crime film. Good cast populates this film including Mila Kunis, Regina Hall, Awkwafina, Matthew Modine and many more.

This is a total hidden gem. Cute, smart, and a massive cast. Not sure why this movie is getting the hate. people coming about nothing good goes to theaters then gems like this exist and people give it bad ratings. Sigh. Gotta support these types of movies.

This movie is the worst thing I have watched in a long time! I watched because of Allison Janney. I had to give it 1/2 a star but should be no stars! It is extremely violent, graphic, foul language and bloody! Do not watch!!

A giant cast of great actors can not stop the weight of the central and supporting characters being both unlikeable and even worse… uninteresting. There is no mystery to drive interest the way a neo-noir would and it's not dark enough to be a black-comedy. The film is too much of not-a-good thing and not enough of what it could have been.
