07/05/2020 Breathe Breana is a lovely mix between a story of an inspiring young woman living with Cystic Fibrosis and a beautiful tone poem. With much footage from Breana's life starting at birth we see a young woman simultaneously living her best life while fighting a chronic disease. A worthwhile, uplifting film that doesn't shy away from the realities of life. See more 03/27/2020 What a beautiful film. It's hard to find a documentary that's at once inspiring and lyrical, but Breathe Breana achieves both. Breana is such an inspiration- she's unstoppable, and reminds us to go beyond our reasons for not following our dreams. It's so uplifting when filmmakers choose to focus their artistry on stories that can lift their audience, and this is as about as fine an example of that kind of craft that can be found. Hats off to the creators, and hats off to Breana. Thanks for sharing her story! See more 01/13/2020 A lyrical poem or cinematic music video about a young beautiful woman & the ocean. This is an unapologetic lyrical doc about a young woman and her passion for sports and the ocean with a challenge that most don't have. That challenge is carried with a grace that is humbling. I do not mean to over indulge pity as often is done by the naive that forget we all will check out of this human form all too soon. But some stories of how the delicate balance of life is carried are moving because it seems to demand different things that most of us do not know. It is a slow piece that will not rush because you may be in a hurry. It reveals through a narration, a type of bond and love between subject and creator that you may or may not appreciate. But without a doubt, and beyond any question...you will enjoy the spirit of the young surf angel subject of this project. I wish her all of the oceans and adventures and surfings she can ever desire. This film explores cystic fibrosis and an astonishing woman struggling with the disease whilst doing what she loves, surfing. Brilliant! See more 11/26/2019 Inspiring to the max! This is a documentary that will give hope and challenge you to meet your own limitations head on. Very insightful on the debilitating effects of cystic fibrosis and one young womans determination to rise above her circumstances and achieve her dreams. I hope she now knows about the new break through in cystic fibrosis just recently discovered that seems to be giving back those who suffer from it their life.
