Yeny M It was amazing! The writer did an outstanding job. The film goes beyond telling a compelling story. The film leverages symbolism and metaphors to make us realize what we need to face in life to be free. Our opening is filled with personal tragedy for our main characters, and they desperately need something new for their relationship to thrive. As bewildering as this is, it's actually kind of exciting in a bizarre way. New characters enter the picture, and they're in the same situation, and they've been injured in their attempt at freedom. Again, we've new characters, and they seem just as lost, and the terror of what's happening is strong to set in for them all. With our now newest character, we see that all is not what it seems, and the deception and mayhem is upon them all now. This is sci-fi at its most imaginative, and it's something entirely more than meet the eye, with technology playing the biggest role. Die narrative Konstruktion ist derart lückenhaft, dass man beinahe von einem deliberierten Hausfriendsbruch der Dramaturgie sprechen muss. Die Figuren bleiben flach und wenig überzeugend, Dialoge wirken absichtlich verschachtelt und künstlich – allesamt ein Affront gegen etablierte Regeln des Filmhandwerks. Visuelle Mittel wie die wiederkehrende Fliege erscheinen beliebig und tragen keinerlei Substanz. Zusammengefasst: Wer das Kino ernst nimmt, wird hier auf ganzer Linie enttäuscht. Which leaves a lot of room open for a sequel if they choose to go that path. I watched it with English dubbed and appreciated that the lead subbed his own voice, might be better if watched in its original German form.
