There is a good film here struggling to emerge, but I would have preferred either an all-Indian Austen adaptation, or a Bollywood musical that tried to incorporate the Hindu diaspora. Go to Full Review

Every so often, the unseen managers of the galaxy bestow on us mere mortals a vision of rare incongruous beauty: a solar eclipse, a streaking comet, a shooting star, Bollywood goddess Aishwarya Rai happily riding a tractor. Go to Full Review

fiona p Jun 22 i liked it, i thought it was cute and fun! I'm a huge fan of P&P and this had that with a slightly more rom-com/bollywood/musical vibe! My rating would probably be lower if I did not love P&P/Austen so much. Very much enjoyed the beginning. Chemistry was good enough, but weak compared to that of matthew macfayden and kiera knightley... sometimes a little too montage-heavy and slow. See more Waniya S 07/28/2024 I wasted my time on this. The plot was meh, there was absolutely no chemistry between any of the couple. See more Enkh U 07/21/2024 Lalita Bakshi looks beautiful here See more Bahad j 07/20/2024 This idea of the film shooting technique director made the film more attractive to people. See more Munkhjargal A 07/20/2024 It is a movie where the director feels that love is not something that can be managed by a simple person. It has become a very interesting movie about the fact that he almost leaves his loved one because of a big lie See more Fred K 03/24/2024 Meh - the plot is thin, the romances are unconvincing, some of the characters are overdrawn. The realities of India are ignored as the characters all seem to be quite wealthy. But, if you like pretty girls and lots of big Bollywood dance numbers, it's for you. See more Read all reviews
