Georgan G 12/04/2023 Another film from 50 SciFi Classics. With a decent cast like Raymond Burr & Lon Chaney, Jr., this was an ok movie. The plot was silly as can be seen from the title. Very campy. See more 07/28/2022 Short low-budget copy of the type of movie Val Lewton and Jacques Tourneur pioneered. Elements of Cat People, I Walked with a Zombie and Wolf Man, not least because Tom Conway and Lon Chaney Jr (strangely cast as a boring police chief) feature. There's also a bonkers old gypsy woman who can't act. None of it is particularly memorable, but it passes the time.
