Audience Member I can clearly see where the inspiration for my beloved Xena came from, but this cheesy Hong Kong martial arts film is just passable entertainment that relies too much on the use of step-printed slow motion and is filled with repetition and expository dialogue instead of enough fighting. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Fantastic wuxia film that is well deserving of its reputation. Great stuff. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Much of the overacting from the human yin/yang comes across as comedy. There's some good wuxia scenes, but it's mostly drama, romance, and bad effects. Interesting lighting and colors, but very dated and overrated. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a beautiful movie combining action, good romance, and a tragic yet captivating story. I admit the villain was a bit on the strange side but nevertheless it was good. The sequel can't beat this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member A great example of Chinese action-fantasy. Incredibly good looking. Fighting choreography is also top notch. RECOMMENDED. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the most visually stunning films I have ever seen. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
