The film should either introduce something new or at least retell familiar events in a compelling way to be worthwhile, but Britney Ever After does neither. Go to Full Review

Britney Ever After is supposed to be a pro-Britney feminist film, but it feels like a cheap cash-in. An incredibly inaccurate cash in, with a timeline that's all over the place and many obvious mistakes during iconic Britney moments. Go to Full Review

Emily P Jun 13 Well, I’ve been a fan of Britney Spears since I was little and this movie was honestly an insult to her. Sorry, but who they cast to play her looked nothing like her. I would give this zero stars but I don’t think I can write a review without doing a star or half star. See more Montana F 07/26/2024 Do not go into this movie expecting some revealing, crazy true story. BUT. I feel like the guy who played Justin Timberlake seemed like the perfect cringy gross guy. He even has a Janet Jackson poster in his room as a teenager! 😝😬It was a fine movie to put on in the background type movie. See more Tabitha B 11/11/2023 First off, you can't make a biopic of a singer and NOT include ANY of their music! The only music that was featured were songs that Britney Spears covered (i.e. (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, I Love Rock n' Roll, etc.). That being said, this movie is awful. Being a Lifetime movie I wasn't expecting much, but I'm usually somewhat entertained by them, not this one. I'm a pretty big fan of Britney so of course I knew I was going to watch this. This movie just jumps from one thing to the next. They spend more time than they probably should have on her relationship with Justin Timberlake and then just jump to her marriage that was annulled, then the next second she's making out with Kevin Federline, then she's married, then there's 2 kids and so on and so on. This movie feels like someone just dropped a ton of tabloid magazines on the floor and pieced them together from that. Very bad. See more 09/08/2021 ok. people. it is a made for tv film. it was good not as bad as they say. not great either. but it is what it is See more 09/05/2020 They butchered my boy, JT. He got noodle hair and that chick looked nothin like Britney, we've been bamboozled. See more 09/05/2020 Trash I never want to see her play Britney spears again.
