In the City of Brotherly Love, eight-year-old Peter Flood helplessly watches on as his little sister is killed by a neighbor's reckless driving. I was expecting more. Had the story and tone of a gritty crime drama. Love the mob stories of the low level in on glamorous neighborhood guys. But this story felt dull and cut corners to save on budget. Not showing shooting scene. Or showing guys get shot one and presume their dead. Not having a complete ending. It felt they took choices to save on budget rather than to have a compelling full story.

What should have been a powerful film about generation pain and problems, instead comes out as a boring crime family just dealing. Great actors with decent acting - but the substance after the history is revealed doesn't hold up.
