Gabby L @MovieGal95 6d I hope this film gets the attention it deserves. Everyone who cares about people caught in the middle of something they can't control should watch Bucha! Just like almost anyone, the main character just wanted to go about his life, but once he saw the faces of the people who needed him, he was compelled to help. Their stories are terrifying! The movie is based on a true story, and I definitely found myself wanting to know more about the Russian invasion into Ukraine - and praying for all the innocent people caught in the crossfire. He didn't want to get involved, but one experience behind enemy lines was all it took to convince him. He tries to back out of the dangerous job of helping others, but in the end, he knows that if he doesn't, many people will die. I want to show this movie to everybody I know! The movie features a normal, fairly average guy who is asked to help save people in Ukrainian village under violent attack by the Russians when they first invaded a few years ago. What stunned me was hearing that it isn't just a true story (thousands of innocent people were viciously murdered in just a few months), but that some of the "actors" were the real people! Everyone should watch this. Tragic and horrific events thats also show heroism and kindness and what people are willing to do to help others, while risking their life. It’s an incredible story that stays with you. I was hooked from the beginning to the end. It really shows the world the bravery of people and the reality of what the Russians are doing there.It’s an essential film for anyone who wants to know the reality of the war in Ukraine.
