Chris M The first and as far as I know at the time of writing the review the only direct sequel to an Abbott and Costello movie. The pacing of this one is not great, the story is a bit thin even for the shorter runtime. But even the story isn't great, it is good. And the lead characters are good. Overall, it's very good. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/17/24 Full Review Steve D Not as funny as they normally are. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolute fantastic sequel! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review bill t I dunno, I enjoyed this more than the original. The gags seemed less obvious and repetitve,, and there was a bit more of a story. The little girl thing and the ridiculous overlong ending I could do without, but A and C were razor sharp here, and made the whole thing enjoyable. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A fantastic sequel to Buck Privates that is even better than the original! Hilarious gags, routines and mayhem that makes the duo memorable. I loved it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member This comedy is pretty average for 1947, actually it's pretty corny, and not that funny. Overall, it's okay, not good but not too bad either. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
