Audience Member A directorial debut by one of the most popular French graphic novel writer Enki Bilal. In terms of genre, it is a new-future anti-utopia sci-fi, but what makes this film different from others is Bilal's special view of the world. You should put aside the political theme of the film aside and focus on enjoying this offbeat and absolutely unique color of the film, which strongly gives you the sense of "an end." I don't think this film is that great as an ensemble play set in a closed-room, for each character is very weak, and the story itself is very hard to catch, but still, this film is very original and powerful enough to make you even feel that you're in that world of the film.
