Bunny is a streetwise hustler working a quick job when everything goes sideways fast. Thrown into a fight for his life, he turns to his best friend Dino for help. Sweats to hit the 90-minute mark, and it all builds to a happy ending that is not in the least bit plausible, but as a directorial calling card, Bunny makes for an entertainingly good time with good company.

For a film that begins with urgency, it quickly devolves into a series of characters popping in and out, which makes it more like a running gag than a running storyline. Knock-knock jokes have more zip and panache than any line in Bunny.

Bunny is a shaggy but watchable 2020s movie that pays tribute to stoner comedies of the 1990s. The plot (about New York City apartment dwellers trying to hide a dead man's body) drags and wears thin, but there are some genuinely funny moments.

there is some organic energy here, but it mostly feels like the protagonist/director and likely the cast are much more privileged than the film would like to depict them. there may be some issues with prejudice in this as well tbqh, because it seems the director has a lot of disdain for the mentally ill.

There are very few movies that from the first 10 minutes you realize, without a doubt are going to be a cult classic and one of the biggest hits of that year!!! Bunny was a nonstop ride of real LES Manhattan Characters doing what they do best - Adapt, Improvise & Overcome the chaotic world we call”NEW YORK, NY” - my absolute favorite movie of 2025 and definitely on my top 20 list of favorite movies now!!! As real as real gets to NYC while also showing how eclectic and electric New Yorkers are 24/7 365 days a year!!!! Bunny needs an Oscar, Golden Globe and More More More!
