Sheri W Good movie up until the end. I hate unexplained endings and this was one of them. I'm assuming the mom died. The daughter back with the abusive boyfriend and I'm guessing the girls kidnapped was a human trafficking thing. Also the mom's kind of boyfriend and employee went behind her back and that wasn't talked about. I was really disappointed in the ending to say the least. It's like the writers ran out of time and left it unexplained. Rated 3/5 Stars •  Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/25 Full Review mark g The problem with this is they have an excellent story, but they have applied all the Time life tell tales to it, the corny music the support actors who for some reason come across as third rate in all aspects, yet I have seen some of them in other movies, and they haven't been bad. They could be looking at a serious franchise here if they up the budget, hopefully someone who matters will realise this and make the next movie better. Having googled part 2 and discovering it isn't even in production yet is a bit disconcerting, but I honestly look forward to seeing it and hopefully an altogether different production. Get some serious action choreography in there and support that know their stuff. Get serious about the script, ditch the Time life signature stuff, and I really think this could bring in big bucks. Having said all that, I did enjoy it so don't be put off just hope that part 2 gets better, and we could be seeing a lot more of this.
