Audience Member A harrowing documentary by Nic Dunlop, the film is an exploration of what happens to people that are conscripted into the Tatmadaw (Burmese military) and what might happen when they try to leave and piece together the lives of their family and to recover the pieces of themselves (or to reckon with the pieces that are lost forever). Another film that I'm glad to see that broke different ground on an important issue. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a sad film about a former soldier of Burma regime and how he becomed in one of its most important oppossitors. In the lines, you can read the history of a humble people who has died without know what's going on with its country. Burma Soldier is a very interesting way to see it.
