      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe is a nifty showcase for the roguish charisma of Bruce Campbell, even if it feels more like an extended television episode rather than a feature film.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review waleed a eh. couldn't keep my interest (about 2 viewings) Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Enjoyable film but I struggled to follow it as I just couldn't keep track of what was going on. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I am a big fan of the Burn Notice series and i really enjoyed this movie! I love the storyline on going to Sam Axes past before he was drinking Mohito's in Miami with a Hawaiian shirt. Bruce Campbell does a great job bringing action and comedy to the film. And best of all, the film was directed by Jeffrey Donovan (Michael Westen) and he does a great job of it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member I LOVE anything, Michael or Sam!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Alan Sepinwall HitFix Campbell's got the charisma and self-deprecating sense of humor to carry a whole film. We know that. But the Sam presented here isn't nearly as much fun as Campbell gets to be on the show. Nov 16, 2018 Full Review Brian Tallerico HollywoodChicago.com It's not bad, but not particularly the best outing for anyone involved. Rated: 3/5 Nov 16, 2018 Full Review John Stanley San Francisco Chronicle Campbell can be heroic and self-effacing in the same scene, and his followers will delight in the mixture of blazing action and comedic romp. Rated: 3/4 Nov 16, 2018 Full Review Blair Howell Deseret News (Salt Lake City) Has all its bases covered for a successful comedy: a witty script (from the series creator Matt Nix), expert direction (by the series star Jeffrey Donovan) and a flawed but fun character, deftly portrayed by Campbell. Nov 16, 2018 Full Review Merrill Barr Film School Rejects One of those few TV movies that totally gets the audience it's playing to. If you love Burn Notice, then Sam's fall from the ranks of military, is probably exactly what you were hoping for. Nov 16, 2018 Full Review Rob Frappier Screen Rant Truthfully, I wasn't blown away by Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe, but I did enjoy the movie for what it was worth.
