Juan Carlos A somehow, this movie got a high score on IMDB. That's how I got sucked into watching it. Bad acting, bad script. Waste of my time and money. Don't waste your time. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/18/25 Full Review Andrea H Burner is 100% worth watching. I was particularly moved by Akina Wylie's acting- she owns every scene she’s in. From her very first moment on screen, she brings this quiet intensity that keeps you locked in. The rest of the cast is also very impressive. The story line super feels very real and the acting builds a very believable world. If you're into character-driven stories with real emotion and layered performances, definitely watch Burner. Akina Wylie is phenomenal — and the story stays with you long after the credits roll. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/15/25 Full Review Flo N Enjoyed the movie with my friends. We all thought it was entertaining, good acting and unexpected ending! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/17/25 Full Review Kimberly W I loved the plot - overall, a fun and entertaining movie to watch! We watched with our teenage kids and they both loved it too! The daughter, Akina Wylie, was great - vulnerable yet strong. Caught between a kid that had to grow up too fast yet still a kid. I loved the sweet relationship she had with her mom, Kacy Owens, who had a wonderful performance of strength and cleverness. The dad, James Oliver Wheatley, was also awesome - scary and intimidating yet had a heart. I would watch it again! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/17/25 Full Review Mike W I was looking for something to watch and pleasantly surprised with Burner. It’s a cool story about career criminals with their daughter and has a cool twist I didn’t expect. Acting great and Lew Temple is in it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/23/25 Full Review Read all reviews
