Audience Member Worst movie ever..made no sense at all. What a waste of time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This film takes you right inside of a particular tribal culture, the beauty and the claustrophobia. It is a metaphor for any dying civilization that is sealed off and trapped in its own customs. To bitter and rigid to change its people can only dream of a different world where love triumphs at least half the time over hate unlike there own. But violence and the heroin sleep unto death is really the only respite for them. Fredde Duke as Jolene portrays beautifully how the life instinct and desire for redemption continues to fight for oxygen until the very end and it is the end. Kentucky as America, you can feel it throughout this movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review kevin c Set in rural Kentucky, a woman whose family was killed searches for answers as to why. This was a bit of a slow burn story which was very well acted by the cast. I really enjoy movies like this where I know nothing about it going in. While I liked the pace of the storytelling, the story itself wasn't overly engaging but was saved by the excellent performances. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member It was slow and confusing at first and I couldn't figure out what was going on. After a while when the pieces of the puzzle started coming together I got more into it. At the end I was like, "Wow. I really liked this one."
