Lou O Although a little slow and lacking a bit in character build up, the over all message is worth finishing this movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review Audience Member I really wanted to like this movie a lot more than I did. The idea is great, but it's so dry and slow-moving that I found myself just wanting it to be over. There's no real action until about the last 15 minutes of the movie, and then it's depressing. There are some great characters, and I was impressed with the acting- I just wish the movie as a whole had been better. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Good. Excellent Soundtrack. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Don't believe the low rating at IMDB, this is a really good movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member about 25 min into this film I was desperately hoping for the movie to end. The writers eventually got on the right track and it actually turned out to be pretty decent. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Echo's and references of Shakespeare's, Romeo and Juliet this deep tale of modern chance, love and loss will embrace your emotions if you let it. Tim Grierson L.A. Weekly Disappointingly, this well-observed coming-of-age romance soon morphs into an unconvincing crime flick. Apr 17, 2009 Full Review Boyd van Hoeij Variety Helmer Phil Hawkins and young thesps get the awkward first moments of infatuation just right, but the screenplay's limping second half may hamper theatrical prospects.
