kevin c Jerry O'Connell plays a man who decides to head back to the dating pool when his longtime girlfriend pressures him to make a commitment. Although the main story involves O'Connell, there's quite a bit of ridiculous subplot involving his friend played by Ryan Reynolds, which to be fair is more enjoyable than the main plot. Decent movie with a few good laughs. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Ouuch, ce film ne passerait pas de nos jours, malgré que ce soit drôle et déluré... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Good cast and has its funny moments. Notice I said moments! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Thought this movie was pretty funny! Anything with Ryan Reynolds is hilarious. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member one of the best romantic comedies i have seen in few years . Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review brendan n Buying the Cow has an odd film structure and the characters tend to fall in and out. The cast is very impressive and showcases a lot of underrated comedic talents that have either ended up missing out or moved on to better things. Jerry O'Connell is a talented actor but this is beneath him. He throws himself into the role but the filmmaker doesn't have the ability to create a stable film to surround him. The jokes are often mean spirited and there's a weird anti gay moment in here as well. The film is actually good when it hits the story beat of meeting the girl our lead character thought was the dream girl. That scene is funny and just shows how the filmmakers misjudged the storyline. Ron Livingston & Ryan Reynolds steal every scene they are in and the film struggles when they are missing. 01/05/2020 Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
