Noah M Haven’t seen this movie? What’s wrong with you!? The acting is top tier. If this movie would've come out any year other than 1988, it would've won best picture. Unfortunately, it had to compete with the best movie of all time - Rain Man. This 1988 hidden gem will leave you with your jaw on the floor. Don't listen to the negative reviews that talk about the movie's flaws. As far as I'm concerned, those other reviewers are just jealous that they weren't allowed to participate in such an astounding work of art. Bye Bye Vietnam will reinvigorate your love for storytelling. I'm afraid that if I watch it a second time it will supplant Rain Man as my all-time favorite movie.
