There are plenty of plot holes and dumbass character decisions here, but it had some okay production to make up for its downsides, as well as better acting than in the previous installment of this franchise. The makeup effects were also pretty decent, though I could have done without Sean Astin.

Oof! What a joke this series has become. It's such a shame. This was primed to make a bunch of classics, but nope. Instead we get crap like this. There's some fun moments, and cool ideas, with some great gore, but a lot of it has a been-there-done-that quality. And seriously, by the time it gets to the wrestling sequence on the beach with the two girls that are falling apart, it's just become a full-blown cartoon.

Oh my lord. What happened to this? The first 15 minutes made the film look promising but it gets worse and worse as the film progresses adding more retarded things to the virus. Don't even get me started on the ending.
