Audience Member A boring drama, the characters are fulfilling enough to carry the plot, and the dogs get more attention that they can offer. The locations are memorable, but a film like this can only do so much before it starts to drag on. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review bill t Silly adventure about a novellist forced to go into town from her cabin with a lout of a fur trapper. All things imaginable happen as they try to reach it, snowstorms, ice breaking, wolves, you name it. Speaking of animals, the story takes a pause throughout to watch subplots featuring animals. Along with wolves, wwe have 2 bear cubs, a faithful dog, and a talking crow. Pretty soon the filmmakers get clever as we compare the animals with the humans. Not worth your time, even though animals are certainly being put through the tumbler for this one. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
