Victor O I saw this in the filmography of a gorgeous actress and thought to myself this was worth my attention. Also, I remember hearing about the case on TV when I was a kid, and I never fully understood what was going on. But then again, I was a kid, I had no idea what words like madame, and call girl meant. Now that I’m older, I wanted to find out what this was all about. 1970s – 1998. Heidi Fleiss is a former prostitute turned madame who basically started out her life living the good life from her pediatrician father. Growing up enjoying the good life and the lifestyle of a privileged girl with no ambition other than looking good and living life. She gets older but certainly doesn’t grow up by becoming a prostitute and enjoys selling her body, but makes it more than a living, she makes it her life, by giving herself standards as well as ambitions as she takes over the sick madame she worked for and sets standards on prostitutes, becoming a success. But all good things come to an end, as too much money, drugs, and fame become her downfall as she ends up losing control and ends up suffering the consequences. Amazing. When I saw this movie made I wondered how they got Jamie Lynn Sigler for this role, but then I recall her time on The Sopranos and seeing how different the roles are, I bet she was still inspired by the challenge in being a different kind of mob boss. Make no mistake the actress has too much respect for herself and sticks to obvious body doubles in the nude scenes, but she plays Heidi Fleiss with the same gusto as the former madame. There are also plenty of gorgeous women that stand out in their own right and plenty of actors showing themselves either victims or villains that doom Heidi and force her to face the consequences. While not the most inspiring piece of storytelling the acting in this movie was great, if only a bigger studio was at the helm this could have been as good as a Scorsese film. Still, a good time well spent. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/28/25 Full Review Audience Member It's a story/movie about Heidi Fleiss, a Hollywood socialite who ran the highest industry in escorting.
