Carlo C Conmovedora historia sobre amistad, lealtad y pérdida, sobre como lidiar con cada una de estas cosas y salir avante. Hace mucho que no veía a Beau Bridges y su actuación es el aderezo perfecto para esta historia. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/25 Full Review Sally M Beautiful movie! Loved the story, loved the photography, loved the acting and loved that much of it was filmed in my home town Morro Bay, Ca. The scenes in our fishing village are captured beautifully. Loved the music as well! Beau Bridges is perfect in this role. This movie is a treasure, wish more like it were made these days! Hoping to own this in DVD when available. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/22/24 Full Review Beth L Jay Silverman's beautiful story of a child's courage, bravery, and resilience in the face of bullying is a powerful testament to intergenerational commitment to mentorship. A masterful and renowned photographer himself, it is no surprise that this seasoned director's lens is both breathtaking and his pictures speak a thousand words. Adolescent actor Miguel Gabriel's freshman outing as a schoolboy who quite literally has no voice, in juxtaposition with the veteran American treasure, Beau Bridges, who snarls and gripes with affection, packs a punch and reminds us all that when we pay it forward, it is the receiver of the friendship who winds up teaching the supposed master lessons about ourselves we have often forgotten. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/21/24 Full Review zoraida i Excellent movie, La actuación del niño de Pineda; tienen q verla!! 100 recomendada! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/17/24 Full Review Cecile K A sweet, poignant film about the wonder of community. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/13/24 Full Review Maxime Z It is rare to find a film these days about everyday sorts of realities and people, and it's something I look for and appreciate. This film is beautifully shot, directed, and acted, with the ever-wonderful Beau Bridges and the young star Miguel Gabriel playing Oscar, who Bridges' character Eric befriends and mentors. There were excellent performances all around and believable characters with relationships and conflicts that get under the skin. I cried my eyes out.
