Noah is a troubled teen who nearly gets caught stealing a top-secret gadget from some big city thugs. After barely escaping, he decides to hide out at a summer camp that's run by the eccentric Falco and counselors Jake and Selena. Camp Hideout is nothing but cringeworthy clichés of summer camp comedies, with some ripoff ideas thrown in from 1990's Home Alone. The jokes and scenarios are staler than camp cookout food that was left to rot in a previous century.

The problem is they have a bizarre plot with mafia thugs that are following our lead teen Noah played by Ethan Drew. We even get the Home Alone style antics left over from the 90s

Camp Hideout is incredibly well-intentioned, and it certainly has less sexuality, violence, and language than the hilarious-but-mature camp movies and Home Alone comedies it was clearly inspired by.

I wonder how the filmmakers reconcile a desire to honor Christianity with their story’s very un-Christian implication that it’s totally okay – and kind of fun - to commit physical violence toward your enemy.

Campy but cute. Strong Christian religious theme I didn't realize was part of the plot but noire to over the top but praying for lost camper made it apparent. They should make that more obvious in description.

This was such a clean, family-friendly, sweet, and heartwarming movie! I don't normally take my kids to the theater, with the lack of appropriate movies on the market. When I saw this was put out by the makers of Tic Tac Toy, we jumped at the chance & were not disappointed. This blew away my expectations!

Good Family Movie - most adults will probably see it as low-quality.

Liked - No foul language or sex scenes. The subtle attempt to point to God. The comradery of the campers eventually coming together to help the hurting one. Disliked - A LOT of cheesy acting many scenes that seem improbable in real life (e.g. - the camper sneaking into a cabin with the primary resident barely 25 feet away with his back turned).

I took my 7-year-old grandson to see the movie along with adult family and friends. This movie is for all ages. It is a wholesome movie that everyone will enjoy. It's funny and adventurous!
