andy h Shirley temple continues to shine in one of her most beloved classics that inspired several films of similar plots. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review christopher c. m It's not perfect, it drags. But not as bad as other movies back then. And the standard Depression era "Karen" is the villain. In this case a Karen so obsessed by the rules that she doesn't care about the children she imprisons in the orphanage. But the sailors are the low lives to her. But good music, good humor and a classic, not perfect but a classic just the same. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review bill t Alright update of the Baby Peggy story, except I prefer the earlier adaptation better. It had, believe it or not, more edge then this one dows. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I love the old movies starring Shirley Temple. Now that I'm a grandma, I hope to enjoy the movies again with my granddaughter Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member "Captain January" es una conmovedora y muy graciosa pelicula que demuestra todo el talento y la precocidad de la legendaria Shirley Temple. Las escenas musicales son de lo mejor y la historia se conecta con el corazon del espectador de principio a fin. El termino "adorable" se queda corto con "Captain January".
