Marsha B I needed this break from modern cinema. It was just as I had hoped it would be. The lead actors were respectful of the leading lady. This movie was not a John Wayne movie. Errol Flynn's type maybe. The film quality was a much lower resolution than looked good on a hd screen but all in all, it was fun entertainment. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/30/22 Full Review Matthew D Average early John Wayne b-western. No better or worse than most. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/29/21 Full Review Audience Member lame B movie cheap!!!! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Very poor Robin Hood tale, transplanted to France for some reason. Plays like an extreme low-budget Errol Flynn wannabe with awful dialog, badly delivered and very basic swash-buckling. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Napoleonic swashbuckler with Richard Greene as the titular hero and Amara as the winsome love interest. Horribly dated, poorly scored and the technicolor hurts the eyes - with a story best suited to a Saturday morning serial of old. The dialogue also seems tacked on - watch if you are bored only.
