Dave S @Dshall214 4d I really loved this documentary. I’ve read a fair amount about JFK over the years, but Capturing Kennedy showed a side of him I’d never really seen before through the work of his photographer, Jacques Lowe. The photos and footage feel incredibly personal—little candid moments that make Kennedy seem more human than the usual historical figure. What also makes the film so interesting is the story behind Lowe himself. Much of his original photography archive was thought to be lost, but recordings of Lowe talking about his work were later discovered in a garage after his death and became the backbone of the documentary. Hearing him describe those moments while seeing the images is pretty powerful. If you’re interested in JFK or American history at all, it’s absolutely worth watching. I learned a lot and found it really compelling from start to finish. See more Read all reviews
